ARLINGTON, Va. – April 23, 2013 – Cambridge International Systems, a leading provider of integrated C4ISR solutions for the U.S. Government’s most demanding international security needs, has been selected by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as one of the seven awardees under Global Information Grid Services Management–Engineering, Transition, and Implementation (GSM-ETI). GSM-ETI is a small business set-aside, multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The GSM-ETI contract’s period of performance includes a base period of two years, one two-year option period and one one-year option period for a potential total period of five years. The sum total face value for all seven GSM-ETI contracts (the estimated contract ceiling value for the base period) is $568 million. Furthermore, the sum total ceiling value of $1.42 billion is for all seven GSM-ETI contracts, which cannot be exceeded over the potential five-year life cycle. Under the contract, Cambridge and their world-class partners will provide telecommunications network engineering; service transition and implementation; and ITIL-derived technical support as part of this IDIQ contract.

Cambridge has been serving DISA since 2001. This support includes ongoing successful performance as a DISA prime contractor providing network enhancements and dynamic sustainment of wideband systems. Cambridge was also an original subcontractor teammate on DISN Global Solutions (DGS), and remains an active industry partner with Network Services. As a telecommunications provider for DISA, Cambridge has become synonymous with OCONUS circuit provisioning support for those “hard to do” spaces.

“We look forward to continuing to provide DISA strong performance through the GSM-ETI contract. Cambridge’s agility, entrepreneurialism, and operational urgency mirror DISA’s commitment to its mission,” said Cambridge Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kimberly Harokopus.
