Cambridge Attends the 2011 LandWarNet Conference

Cambridge joined more than 400 defense and IT exhibitors including Fortune 500, small businesses, and local companies, as well as military/government exhibitors at the 2011 LandWarNet Technology Showcase in Tampa, FL. Demonstrated technologies and solutions include NetOps capabilities, secure solutions, satellite systems, network integration, and wireless technology.

The theme which focused on "Transforming Cyber While at War," was the premier cyber/signal/command and control/communications forum that brought government and industry together to discuss commercial best business practices and government policy and implementation.

Featured speakers at the 2011 LandWarNet included Ms. Teri Takai, Department of Defense Chief Information Officer, ADM William H. McRaven, USN, Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, LTG Rhett A. Hernandez, USA, Commanding General, U.S. Army Cyber Command /2nd Army, LTG Susan S. Lawrence, USA, Chief Information Officer/G-6, U.S. Army, LTG Carroll F. Pollett, USA, Director, Defense Information Systems Agency, and Mr. John T. Chambers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Cisco.

Panel sessions offered attendees the chance to interchange with the experts. The Aug. 24 Industry Panel, comprised of senior leaders from the defense and IT industry, focused on the Army's information technology acquisition process.

Complementing the speakers and panel sessions were nine tracks and twenty-two Information Exchange Forums. These in-depth sessions focused on current Army and coalition IT topics, including transforming cyber while at war; knowledge management; network visibility, control, and protection; enterprise license agreements; and service level management.
